The Start of The New Year!

     As I charge fearlessly into the new year, I find myself excited for 2016. I hope to see my book come out, and this year I plan to do even more writing then I have in the past.
     Also, this year, my wife and I are planning a major move of our bookstore. Our store is in a very old building here in Minnesota. The area where the books are located was built in 1894. All the books are set on top of a wood floor above a basement. For the last year, I have been worried about the weight of the books damaging the building, and there are days I'm scared that I will come to work and find my store has crashed into the basement below.
     So this month we start our move to the other side of the building, which is a solid cement floor. 
     Everyone I tell this to says the same thing. "I can't believe that you are going to move all those books!" Well, I'm gonna. And I'm starting on Monday. 
     Now when I'm not hauling books, or reading them, I will be back to writing.
 I have learned some important lessons this last year and I am going to share them with you. Don't get blown away... 
1.) Books don't move themselves.
2.) Books don't write themselves.
3.) Books don't read themselves. 
There you go. Now you are as enlightened as I am.
